Synopsis

Analytical verification of the RNA sequencing-based Afirma GSC. Classifier calls were tolerant to variation in RNA input (5-30 ng) and to up to 75% dilution of malignant fine-needle aspirate material, and remained accurate in the presence of up to 75% blood or 30% genomic DNA. Kennedy is fifth of seven authors.
